TRAVEL BY PLANE
To get to Colombia you normally travel to Bogota (BOG). The flights in Colombia are quite cheap so it is best to buy tickets to the main gateways like Bogota or Cartagena. To get to the wedding location the closest city to fly is Armenia Quindio (AXM). Hereby an overview.

From Europe: Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines are flying direct to Bogota. KLM also stops in Cartagena. Air Europa, Iberia, Lufthansa, and Turkish. Some other airlines fly also to other cities in Colombia like Medellin.
From other destinations: Aero Mexico, American, Delta & United fly to Bogota and some of them also to Cartagena.

The National airline is Avianca. They fly to practically every city in Colombia multiple times a day (also from the US). They fly also to Europe. Viva air is the low-cost airline of Colombia and have recently filed for bankruptcy. So Avianca is probably the best choice for traveling within Colombia (not from Europe…).
